Cancellation & Suspension of Enrolment and Refund Procedure

  1. Policy Consideration: All decisions relating to student enrolment status and fee refunds must align with the Cancellation and Refund Policy agreed upon by students when accepting the Letter of Offer.

  1. Request Form: Students wishing to cancel or suspend their enrolment must complete the Enrolment Cancellation/Suspension Request Form and submit it along with supporting documentation to Student Services. This form guides

students through the requirements for approval.

  1. Approval Process: All enrolment cancellations and refunds require the Campus Manager's approval. An Admission Officer must complete the cancellation cover sheet and submit it, along with supporting evidence, to the Campus Manager. Upon approval, the cancellation is processed in the student management system and PRISMS, and all documents are scanned and uploaded to the student file for future reference. The outcome is then communicated to the student via email.

  1. Unrequested Suspension/Cancellation: If a student's enrolment is to be suspended or cancelled without their request due to poor attendance, academic performance, non-payment, or other reasons, the student and/or their agent will be notified via email three times within a 15-day period prior to suspension/cancellation and notification to the relevant government department. The student/agent must respond to these notifcations and provide correct contact details. Failure to respond will be deemed acceptance of the suspension/cancellation, and no refund will be provided.

  1. Policy Updates: The Cancellation and Refund Policy is regularly updated to ensure compliance with the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act), the Education Services for Overseas Students Legislation

Amendment (Tuition Protection Service and Other Measures) Act 2012, National Code 2018, and other relevant legislation. Students are responsible for keeping themselves informed about updates to this policy.
